This trek is tailored for those with limited time who still wish to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Annapurna region. Throughout the trek, participants will traverse diverse landscapes, witness stunning mountain vistas, and engage with the rich cultural heritage of the local communities. The itinerary takes trekkers through iconic locations such as Manang, Thorong La, and Muktinath, concluding at Jomsom, where a short flight back to Pokhara saves nearly a week of hiking. This trek not only provides an exhilarating high-altitude experience but also showcases the varied climate zones and the unique flora and fauna of the region. ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and taken to your hotel in Thamel, a vibrant area known for its tourist amenities. This day is yours to relax and acclimatize to the new surroundings or to explore local shops and eateries.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Besi Sahar, followed by a jeep ride to Dharapani. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours and offers stunning views along the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway and the Marsyangdi river valley. Your overnight stay will be at a lodge in Dharapani.

Day 3: Trek from Dharapani to Chame

Your trekking adventure begins as you navigate narrow trails leading through charming villages and lush forests. The Annapurna II peak emerges on the horizon as you trek to Chame, the district capital of Manang, where you’ll spend the night. This trek takes around 7-8 hours, covering a distance of 24 km.

Day 4: Trek from Chame to Pisang

Today’s trek takes you through apple orchards and lush forests, with breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal. You’ll pass through the village of Bhratang and follow the trail to Pisang. This part of the trek lasts about 5-6 hours and covers 14 km.

Day 5: Trek from Pisang to Manang

As you ascend towards Manang, you’ll be treated to incredible views of the surrounding mountains. You will pass through several small villages and the impressive Braga monastery. The trek to Manang takes around 6-7 hours, covering a distance of 19 km.

Day 6: Rest Day at Manang for Acclimatization

This day is essential for acclimatization before crossing the Thorong La Pass. You can opt for short hikes to nearby viewpoints or visit the Himalayan Rescue Association aid post. This rest day allows your body to adjust to the altitude.

Day 7: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka

From Manang, the trail gently ascends to Yak Kharka, providing panoramic views of the mountains. The trek is relatively short, taking about 3-4 hours and covering 10 km. However, the higher altitude may cause fatigue.

Day 8: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi

The trek today involves ascending to Thorong Phedi, with a gradual climb followed by a descent to the headwaters of Marsyangdi. This hike takes around 3-4 hours and covers 9 km, with beautiful views along the way.

Day 9: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La

Early in the morning, you will start your ascent to the Thorong La Pass at 5,416 m. After enjoying stunning views at the pass, you will descend to Muktinath, visiting its famous temples and shrines. This strenuous trek takes about 7-8 hours.

Day 10: Trek from Muktinath to Kagbeni to Jomsom

On your final trekking day, you will explore the Muktinath area before descending through picturesque villages with Tibetan architecture to Jomsom. The trek lasts about 7-8 hours, covering a distance of 23 km.

Day 11: Drive from Jomsom to Pokhara and Transfer to Hotel

Following breakfast, you will take a scenic drive to Pokhara, where you can relax at your hotel or explore the lakeside area. This journey takes around 7-8 hours.

Day 12: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Your journey concludes with a bus ride back to Kathmandu, enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. After checking into your hotel, you will be treated to a farewell dinner, marking the end of your unforgettable trekking adventure in Nepal.
