After breakfast, your trek to Pangboche begins. This shorter trek allows for a more leisurely pace as you descend to Debuche, cross the Imja Khola suspension bridge, and then ascend to Pangboche. Here, you can visit the ancient monastery that is said to house a Yeti scalp.
This is one of the most exciting days of your trek as you head to Ama Dablam Base Camp. The trail offers incredible views of the mountain’s iconic hanging glaciers and stunning landscapes. After enjoying the scenery at the base camp, you will return to Pangboche for the night.
As you retrace your steps back to Namche Bazaar, you will experience the same beautiful trails while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. This trek allows you to appreciate the lush forests and quaint villages along the way as you return to the lively atmosphere of Namche.
