Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Flight to Lukla and Trekking to Monjo

Your journey begins with a scenic 35-40 minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,815m). Enjoy aerial views of lush valleys and snow-capped peaks. After landing, meet your trekking team and embark on a 4-hour trek through pine forests and the Dudh Koshi River. Passing through charming villages, you’ll reach Monjo for an overnight stay in a cozy tea house. Meals include lunch and dinner.

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar

Trek from Monjo to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital, located at 3,440m. This day’s trek is a mix of uphill climbs and breathtaking landscapes, including the first glimpses of Everest. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant hub with shops, cafés, and an opportunity to interact with fellow trekkers. Enjoy a hearty dinner and rest in a local lodge.

Day 03: Trek to Millango

Begin your ascent towards Millango (3,745m). The trek offers a mix of dense rhododendron forests and open ridges with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. This serene location provides a peaceful atmosphere for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Trek to Dingboche

The journey from Millango to Dingboche (4,410m) is rewarding as you venture into higher altitudes. Witness awe-inspiring views of Ama Dablam and other towering peaks. Dingboche, a quaint village, offers a chance to acclimatize while soaking in the Himalayan beauty.

Day 05: Trek to Lobuche

Climbing further to Lobuche (4,910m), you’ll walk along glacial moraines and high-altitude trails. The trek is challenging but offers stunning views of Everest, Nuptse, and Pumori. Rest and refuel in a warm tea house to prepare for the following day’s adventure.

Day 06: Trek to Gorak Shep & Hike to Everest Base Camp

Start the day by trekking to Gorak Shep (5,180m), your staging point for the iconic Everest Base Camp. After checking in and leaving your gear, hike to the base camp (5,364m). Revel in the accomplishment of standing at the foot of the world’s tallest mountain. Return to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 07: Hike to Kala Patthar & Trek to Pheriche

Rise early for a steep climb to Kala Patthar (5,545m), the trek’s highest point, to witness a spectacular sunrise over Everest and its neighbors. Descend to Pheriche (4,370m), enjoying easier trails and the soothing sounds of nature.

Day 08: Trek to Namche Bazaar

Retrace your steps to Namche Bazaar. This descent offers ample opportunities to reflect on the trek’s highlights while enjoying more relaxed trails. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Namche once again.

Day 09: Trek to Lukla

Day 10: Fly Back to Kathmandu
