Your adventure begins upon your arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. You’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the bustling Thamel area. After check-in, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore at your leisure, whether you choose to relax at the hotel or wander through the vibrant streets filled with shops and eateries.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage sites. Visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, and the serene Bouddhanath Stupa. A highlight will be Swayambhunath Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the city while encountering playful monkeys.
On Day 3, journey from Kathmandu to Gorkha, a scenic drive of approximately 4-5 hours. After checking in at your hotel and having lunch, you’ll explore Gorkha Durbar Palace, a site of historical significance where King Prithvi Narayan Shah, the unifier of Nepal, was born. You’ll have the opportunity to appreciate the palace’s architecture and the surrounding temples.
After breakfast, a short 2-hour drive will take you to Bandipur, a picturesque Newari town known for its well-preserved traditional architecture and breathtaking mountain views. Enjoy leisurely walks through the charming streets, and consider cycling or hiking to soak in the serene village atmosphere.
On the fifth day, enjoy breakfast before embarking on a 3-hour drive to Pokhara, famed for its stunning lakes and mountain scenery. After checking into a hotel near Phewa Lake, the rest of the day is yours to relax, take a boat ride, or stroll along the lakeside, admiring the views of the Annapurna range.
Start early and drive to Sarangkot to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna range. After breakfast at a local restaurant, embark on a 3-hour hike to Naudanda, where you’ll enjoy scenic views along the way. After returning to Pokhara, spend your afternoon exploring or relaxing, perhaps visiting the peaceful Begnas Lake.
Following breakfast, take a boat across Phewa Lake to begin your hike to the World Peace Stupa, where you can soak in panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. Next, visit Devi’s Fall and the intriguing Gupteshwor Cave before returning to your hotel to rest and enjoy your final evening in Pokhara.
After breakfast, board a tourist bus for a 6-7 hour return journey to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check back into your hotel in Thamel. Enjoy your free time for last-minute shopping and exploring, and join us in the evening for a farewell dinner, sharing stories of your adventures.
On your final day, we will transfer you to Kathmandu International Airport for your departure.
