Family Tour in Nepal – 12 Days

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from Outfitter Nepal Treks and Expedition will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, the afternoon is free for leisure activities. Later in the evening, a pre-trek briefing will take place around 5 PM, where you will receive your kit bag, sleeping bag, and down jacket.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s iconic attractions. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath Stupa. The city’s vibrant markets, bookshops, and cultural sites will captivate you, showcasing its rich heritage.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara

Enjoy a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which takes about six hours through picturesque rural landscapes. Alternatively, you may choose to fly. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, freshen up, and explore Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple. You can also visit Davis’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, and a Tibetan refugee camp.

Day 04: Drive to Phedi and Trek to Dhampus

After breakfast, take a 45-minute drive to Phedi and begin a three-hour trek to Dhampus, a charming village with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Spend the evening exploring this tranquil setting.

Day 05: Trek to Landruk

Start your day with breakfast at the lodge before trekking to Landruk. The trail takes you through lush rhododendron forests, providing glimpses of diverse flora and birdlife. The scenic route leads to Landruk, offering fantastic views of Annapurna South.

Day 06: Trek to Ghandruk

After breakfast, trek towards Ghandruk, visible across the valley. Descend through terraced fields and cross a suspension bridge over the Modi Khola river before ascending to the Gurung village of Ghandruk. This area is a photographer’s paradise with breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Day 07: Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara

Following breakfast, trek for about four hours with stunning views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare. After reaching Nayapul, transfer back to Pokhara by coach, where you can relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 08: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll be briefed on the planned activities during your stay. Enjoy lunch at your lodge before beginning your first afternoon activity, immersing yourself in the jungle experience.

Day 09: Jungle Activities in Chitwan

Enjoy a full day of jungle activities, including jungle walks, canoe rides, bird-watching, and elephant safaris. Chitwan is home to diverse wildlife, including tigers, leopards, and rhinoceroses, providing plenty of opportunities for thrilling encounters.

Day 10: Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu

After your final morning activity in Chitwan, return to Kathmandu by vehicle. Arriving in the late afternoon, check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening to relax or explore.

Day 11: Leisure Day in Kathmandu

Spend the day leisurely exploring Kathmandu at your own pace. Discover the city’s hidden gems or indulge in local cuisine. If you need assistance or guidance, the team can help you with recommendations.

Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu
