Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. After settling in, you can spend the day at your leisure, exploring the vibrant streets, sampling local cuisine, or resting in preparation for your adventure ahead.
After breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city known for its stunning mountain views and tranquil atmosphere. The journey takes approximately 6-8 hours, offering breathtaking landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening by exploring the local area or relaxing by Phewa Lake.
After breakfast, we drive to Tatopani, renowned for its natural hot springs. The journey takes you through lush valleys and quaint Thakali villages, offering a glimpse of local life. After checking into your lodge, you can soak in the therapeutic hot springs and unwind after the day’s travel.
Today, we drive to Jomsom, passing through the deepest gorge in the world, Kali Gandaki Gorge. Along the way, we will visit charming Thakali villages, including Marpha, known for its apple orchards. Jomsom serves as the administrative center of the Mustang District, where we will stay overnight.
After breakfast, we head north along the Kali Gandaki River to Kagbeni, an ancient fortress town on the edge of Upper Mustang. Here, we will explore the unique architecture and rich cultural heritage of the region. The day is spent enjoying the serene landscapes and preparing for our hike to Muktinath.
Today, we embark on a hike to the sacred Muktinath Temple, a significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The hike takes us through stunning terrain and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Once at Muktinath, we will explore the temple and its surroundings, witnessing the beautiful rock formations that characterize the Tibetan plateau.
We spend the day in Muktinath, exploring the temple and its holy sites. The area is rich in spiritual significance, with 108 water taps (Muktidhara) and the sacred fire (Jwala Mai) nearby. Pilgrims flock to this site for its unique blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions. After a day of exploration, we return to Jomsom for the night.
After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Tatopani. Enjoying the landscapes once more, we will return to the hot springs to relax and rejuvenate. This day offers a great opportunity to reflect on your journey and soak in the natural beauty around you.
From Tatopani, we drive back to Pokhara, taking in the scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, you will have the remainder of the day to relax, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake.
On the final day, we return to Kathmandu, where you can enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. In the evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner, sharing stories and experiences from our remarkable journey through the Annapurna region. After dinner, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey or to your hotel for your final night in Nepal.
