Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

On your arrival at Kathmandu, the gateway to this sacred journey, you will be greeted by our tour representatives at the airport. After a smooth transfer to your hotel, check in and rest for the day. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps exploring the surroundings of your hotel or experiencing the vibrant city of Kathmandu. Dinner will be served at the hotel, where you will stay overnight. This day allows for a restful beginning before your pilgrimage begins.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

After a hearty breakfast, set out on a sightseeing tour to explore the spiritual heart of Kathmandu. Your first stop will be the revered Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Day 03: Kathmandu to Raswa Gadi (152 Kms – 6-7 hours)

This morning, after breakfast, the journey begins. You’ll board an AC coach for a scenic drive to Raswa Gadi, located approximately 152 kilometers from Kathmandu. This scenic drive takes around 6-7 hours, offering picturesque views of the landscape.Raswa Gadi serves as a pit stop before entering Tibet, allowing you to rest and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Day 04: Raswa Gadi to Kerung (26 Kms – 1 hour)

Following breakfast, you’ll depart for Kerung, a small town near the Nepal-China border. The drive to Kerung takes around an hour, covering a distance of 26 kilometers. Upon arrival, complete the necessary immigration and customs formalities before checking into the hotel. Kerung will serve as the first stop in Tibet, and you can spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the higher altitudes. Enjoy a peaceful evening before continuing your journey.

Day 05: Kerung to Dongba (250 Kms – 6-7 hours)

After breakfast, the journey continues towards Dongba. This long but scenic drive covers around 250 kilometers and takes approximately 6-7 hours. Along the way, you’ll be treated to stunning views of towering mountains, including Mt. Shishapangma, Gauri Shankar, and several other high peaks. As you pass through the Gurungng-La Pass at an elevation of 5050 meters, the majesty of the Himalayas will leave you in awe. Upon reaching Dongba, check into the hotel and rest for the night.

Day 06: Dongba to Mansarovar Lake (385 Kms – 8-9 hours)

The journey today takes you to the sacred Mansarovar Lake. After breakfast, you will embark on a long drive of 385 kilometers, passing through rugged terrain and high-altitude landscapes. The first glimpse of Mansarovar Lake (at an elevation of 4500 meters) is a deeply spiritual moment, as this lake is considered the most sacred in Hinduism and Buddhism. You’ll also catch your first sight of the towering Mount Kailash from the Horchu Pass. After an emotional arrival, check into a lodge at Chhu Gompa, situated on the shore of the lake. Enjoy a serene night by the holy lake.

Day 07: Mansarovar to Darchen (4600 M – 30 Kms)

Today’s journey takes you to Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash. You will first engage in spiritual activities, including prayers, Pooja, Havana, and a holy bath at Mansarovar Lake. These rituals are designed to purify the soul and prepare you for the upcoming trek. Afterward, embark on a short drive to Darchen, which is located 30 kilometers from Mansarovar. Once you arrive, take the rest of the day to acclimatize to the high altitude and prepare for the Kailash Parikarma (circumambulation).

Day 08: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890 M – 18 Kms)

The Kailash Parikarma officially begins today. A 10-kilometer drive from Darchen will take you to Tarboche (Yam Dwar), the starting point of the trek. From here, you will begin a challenging 4-5 hour trek to Diraphuk (4890 meters). This trek offers spectacular views of Mount Kailash, with the surrounding peaks towering in the distance. Upon reaching Diraphuk, check into the guest house and rest for the night.

Day 09: Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790 M – 22 Kms)

Today, the trek becomes more challenging. You will continue the Parikarma and face the tough climb up to Dolma La Pass (5600 meters), one of the highest points of the journey. After a brief stop for prayers at Dolma La, descend towards Gaurikunda, where you will feel a sense of accomplishment for crossing this formidable pass. After a strenuous trek, reach Zhulthulphuk (4790 meters) for an overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 10: Zhulthulphuk to Dongba via Mansarovar

This is the final leg of the Parikarma. After breakfast, trek for about 8 kilometers before reaching the point where jeeps will be waiting to take you back to Darchen. Day 11: Dongba to Kerung (250 Kms – 6-7 hours)

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Kerung. The scenic 250-kilometer drive offers more breathtaking views of the Tibetan plateau. Upon arrival in Kerung, check into your hotel for a restful night before heading back to Kathmandu.

Day 12: Kerung to Kathmandu (Drive – 6-7 hours)

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, completing the round trip. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Enjoy the last dinner in Nepal, reflecting on the sacred journey you’ve undertaken.

Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu
