The trek begins with a hearty breakfast in Pokhara, followed by a drive to Galeshwor, a charming farming community nestled by the Kali Gandaki River. After a light lunch in Galeshwor, the trek starts with a gradual ascent past terraced farms and dense forests, leading to the small village of Banskharka. Known for its orange farms, this village offers a homestay experience where trekkers can engage with locals, explore the area, and learn about the Magar culture and way of life.
On the second day, trekkers embark on a leisurely hike through rice and corn farms, along with lush pine forests, offering spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The journey includes a three-hour climb to Danda Kateri, where trekkers can enjoy lunch with panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. Afterward, the trail continues to Nangi Village, where trekkers can participate in community activities and visit the Himanchal High School, a model rural school. The fourth day starts with an awe-inspiring sunrise at Mohare Danda, as the mountains bask in the golden morning light. After a hearty breakfast, trekkers embark on a 6-hour trek to Ghorepani, navigating through dense forests with no settlements along the way. A highlight of this day is a stop at Poon Hill, another stunning viewpoint that provides panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas. Upon reaching Ghorepani, trekkers will settle in at a mountain lodge, ready to rest after a rewarding day of hiking.
On the final day, trekkers enjoy an easy hike through rhododendron forests, picturesque streams, and quaint Magar communities. The trek to Hile takes around 5 to 6 hours, mostly featuring level paths and downhill walking. After completing the trek, a shared jeep ride will take the group back to Pokhara, where the journey concludes with a drop-off at the hotel.
