At around 6:00 PM, we’ll gather for a brief introduction to the tour itinerary, giving you an overview of what to expect over the next week. If your flight arrives after 4:00 PM, the briefing will be scheduled for the following morning. Should you arrive earlier, you can take a quick sightseeing tour based on your preferences, exploring the local area or relaxing.
Kathmandu, steeped in history and spiritual significance, will serve as the perfect start to your pilgrimage. The evening is free for rest, but feel free to explore nearby streets, where you’ll get a glimpse of the city’s vibrant energy.
After breakfast, we’ll head to the airport for a short domestic flight to Pokhara, a serene lakeside city surrounded by the majestic Himalayas. Known for its natural beauty, Pokhara offers a tranquil atmosphere for reflection and spiritual rejuvenation. Upon arrival, you’ll visit some of the significant religious and cultural sites in the city.
You’ll explore the iconic Bindhyabasini Temple, perched on a hilltop and offering a panoramic view of the city. Later, we’ll visit the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, a sacred site dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the nearby Davis Falls, which forms a stunning natural backdrop. The afternoon will be free to relax by Phewa Lake, where the Taal Barahi Temple lies on an island in the middle of the lake.
Pokhara offers a peaceful blend of spirituality and natural beauty that enhances the pilgrimage experience. Return to your hotel in the evening and enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner while overlooking the tranquil lake.
On Day 3, you’ll fly to Jomsom, the gateway to the Mustang region, renowned for its rugged beauty and religious significance. From Jomsom, we’ll drive to Muktinath, one of the holiest temples in both Hinduism and Buddhism. Situated at an altitude of 3,710 meters, Muktinath Temple is a symbol of religious harmony, as the complex features both a pagoda-style Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and a Buddhist gompa.
Muktinath is famous for the 108 spouts of water that flow in front of the temple. Pilgrims bathe in these waters, believed to cleanse them of sins and grant salvation. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in this ritual, along with visiting the holy ponds or Kunds.
The spiritual significance of Muktinath, combined with the breathtaking views of the Himalayas, makes this one of the most powerful stops on your journey. After spending time in reflection and prayer, we’ll drive back to Jomsom to catch a flight back to Pokhara.
After breakfast, you’ll take a short flight back to Pokhara and then begin your journey back to Kathmandu. The drive through the rolling hills of Nepal offers a scenic route, and along the way, you can stop at villages to interact with locals, gaining insights into their daily lives and traditions.
Once you arrive in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Kathmandu’s bustling streets are perfect for a casual stroll or some souvenir shopping. Alternatively, enjoy a peaceful dinner at your hotel, reflecting on the experiences of the day.
Kathmandu is home to numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and Day 5 will take you on a guided tour of its most famous cultural and religious landmarks. You’ll begin with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest temples for Hindus. This sacred site dedicated to Lord Shiva is located on the banks of the Bagmati River and is an essential pilgrimage stop for devotees.
Next, we’ll head to the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. This ancient Buddhist stupa offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and is a symbol of Nepal’s religious diversity, as it blends both Hindu and Buddhist traditions.

On Day 7, we’ll visit the ancient city of Bhaktapur, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to several temples and palaces, including the iconic 55-Window Palace. You’ll also visit Nyatapola Temple, the tallest pagoda-style temple in Nepal.
While in Bhaktapur, explore the local markets where artisans still practice traditional crafts, such as pottery and wood carving. The atmosphere in Bhaktapur is vibrant, and the city’s unique charm will immerse you in Nepal’s rich cultural heritage.
On the final day of your pilgrimage tour, you’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, there may be some time for last-minute shopping or a relaxing walk through Kathmandu’s streets. Your representative will transfer you to the airport, and your spiritual journey through Nepal will come to a close.
