Upon your arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our airport representative. After a smooth transfer to your hotel, you can take the evening to refresh and explore the surrounding area. A leisurely stroll allows you to soak in the sights, sounds, and flavors of this vibrant city, preparing you for the adventure that lies ahead.
After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing with a knowledgeable guide. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, where the rich history of the region unfolds before your eyes. Continue to Swayambhunath, popularly known as the Monkey Temple, where playful monkeys roam freely. Explore the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus, and the serene Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world. After returning to your hotel, your trek leader will provide an orientation for your upcoming adventure.
Begin your journey to Pokhara with a scenic drive along the Trisuli and Marsyangdi rivers. The 6-hour journey offers stunning views of the lush landscapes and the majestic peaks of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Pokhara, often referred to as a “tourist’s paradise,” with its picturesque lakes and breathtaking mountain views.
After breakfast, a one-and-a-half-hour drive takes you to Nayapul, where your trekking adventure begins. The hike to Tikhedunga (1,577m) is relatively easy, allowing you to enjoy the scenic beauty of local villages and vibrant settlements along the way. This day sets a gentle pace, welcoming you into the trek.
Today, you’ll embark on a steeper ascent towards Ghorepani. After a hearty breakfast, trek for about two hours, passing through Ulleri and Banthanti villages. The path is lined with breathtaking views of Machhapuchhare, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South. As you traverse through rhododendron forests, the enchanting sounds of chirping birds accompany you until you reach your lodge in Ghorepani.
Wake up early to hike to Poon Hill (3,232m) and witness one of the most spectacular sunrises over the Annapurna range. As the sun rises, the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Machhapuchhare are painted in hues of gold and orange. After enjoying the stunning views, return to Ghorepani for breakfast, then trek to Tadapani (2,650m), surrounded by blooming rhododendron forests.
After breakfast, set off on an easy trek to Ghandruk, a charming Gurung village known for its handicrafts and local culture. The trail descends through lush forests, where you can enjoy the vibrant sounds of nature. Ghandruk offers stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Gangapurna, providing great photo opportunities.
On your final day of trekking, enjoy a relaxed descent to Nayapul, passing through rice fields and local villages. After reaching Nayapul, you’ll drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, reflecting on your trekking experiences.
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Chitwan National Park, taking about six hours. Upon arrival, check into your jungle lodge and prepare for a wildlife tour of a traditional Tharu village, immersing yourself in the local culture.
Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy a full day of exciting jungle activities. Experience jungle walking and an exhilarating elephant-back safari through the park’s diverse landscapes. You will also visit the elephant breeding center and enjoy a captivating Tharu cultural dance performance in the evening.
After breakfast, take part in a morning birdwatching tour to experience the rich avian life of Chitwan before heading back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening to relax or explore more of the city.
On your final day, you’ll be transferred to the international airport for your flight home.
